It was 1996 when DJ and producer Ollie Goedicke started to produce music.
The first demos he has send out recieved a pretty prompt feedback and on sunday
in july 1996 an A&R guy from a record company called him and asked if he has a
track for a dance compilation. Ollie said yes and delivered a brand new track monday
morning in time without even thinking about a name. Within 5 minutes D.O.N.S. was born.
What does it mean? That might always be his secret. The first track he compiled
was also his first single. D.O.N.S. – Drop The Gun. It became a massiv club hit
and even hit the national sales charts in Germany and was signed to AM:PM Records in UK.
His first signing was also the first release on Germans legendary dance label Kontor Records
and this is the homebase of D.O.N.S. untill today. In producing more and more projects
Ollie gained succes with The Warp Brothers as one half of them and also as producer for many other
club hits like 200°C „The God Of Hellfire“, Brain Twins „Voice Of Buddah“, Disco Nation „Kick Da Nation“,
John Morley only to name some of them. Becoming a world wide regocnized DJ with Warp Brothers
Ollie decided in 2004 to resurgence his first ever pseudnoym D.O.N.S. and produced the remake of
D.O.N.S. feat Technotronic „Pump Up The Jam“ with which he already had a big international dance
hit back in 1997. After 8 years this track blew up on more on an international level and reached
22 in the UK sales charts in 2005. Big players like Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong and Eric More Morillo
had been pumping this track for weeks last year. It was the track at the MWMC 2005, 1 at Ibiza and
as well 1 at Mallorca. Matching this years hot summer the new track from D.O.N.S. „Big Fun“ has
been released on Kontor Records and took all German Dance Charts by storm (2 ODC). Ministry Of
Sound UK picked up the option and the track will be released on Hed Kandi, which started the
promo for this tune already now. The vocals from singer Terri and the D.O.N.S. mixes and as
well a very cool club remix by Michi Lange are giving the track all it needs to become
a next hit record. A impeccable Dave Spoon Remix of „Big Fun“ made the track 1 at D
J Download.com and the Ministry Of Sound Download Charts earlier in 2007. Besides
the new single D.O.N.S. did lots of remixes like for DJ Dero „Dero´s Illusions“, Scanners – „Feeling Good“,
Royal Gigolos „Somebodies Watching Me“, Warp Brothers „Blade“, Antoine Clamaran "Relax". F & Martinengo "Let's Get Out Tonite" and recently
